Cookbook - Jamie's Food Revolution
Today was pretty good. To top it off, I made some super good salsa. Salsa is so easy to make. Extremely. It's probably the easiest thing we've ever made. And that's really saying something because we've made a lot of easy things.
All you do is chop together a clove of garlic, some green onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and chile (which we didn't use). Do this really finely, and I'm getting really good at chopping things finely, in my opinion.
I think my chopping skills are getting better. I'm quite happy about that because that's cool because now I can become a better chef.
Put it into a bowl after it's all finely chopped together. Put in some salt and pepper, and mix it. Squeeze in some lime. And then you're done.
We made some really good tacos tonight and my mom's really good rice recipe. It's SO good that Jamie Oliver should add it in his next book. The rice is good because it's made with love...and chicken broth. And it tastes really good. Tomatoey.
The tacos have potatoes and carrots and ground beef all cooked together.
Bam! You have a super good meal. One of my absolute favorites.
